ADULT FAITH FORMATION

FOSTERING FAITH-BASED CONNECTIONS

At St. Andrew Parish, our faith and fellowship programs provide adult parishioners with abundant spiritual, educational, and social opportunities. These programs include activities like Bible study, prayer groups, and social events that foster a sense of belonging and shared purpose within our parish community.

SAINT MONICA CLUB

Members of the St. Monica Club include fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends who share a common concern for loved ones and friends who have fallen away from the Catholic Faith.

The group meets on the fourth Monday of each month, from September through May, from 6:00–7:00 p.m. in the parish hall.

Together, we believe in the power of prayer and faithfully pray for our loved ones, asking God to guide them back to the practice and fullness of the Catholic Faith.

Check the PARISH CALENDAR to confirm the time and location of a monthly meeting. Occasionally, a meeting day, time, or location changes to accommodate other parish events and activities.

MEN'S WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY

St. Andrew Parish hosts a weekly Men’s Bible Study that offers engaging, in-depth, and biblically grounded content enriched by inspirational commentary from nationally recognized theologians, priests, and Catholic leaders. Depending on the series selected, studies may last from several weeks to several months. The program is open to men of all ages who wish to deepen their understanding of Scripture and grow in their Catholic faith. No homework or additional reading is required between each meeting.

The group meets on Fridays throughout the year from 7:00-8:00 a.m. in the Multipurpose Room (the room off of the church parlor).

For more information about the current series, check the WEEKLY BULLETIN.

THAT MAN IS YOU!

That Man is You! is an interactive men’s program that draws upon current social and medical research, the teachings of the Catholic faith, and the wisdom of the saints to address the pressures and temptations men face in today’s culture—especially those related to their vital roles as husbands and fathers.

The group meets from 6:30-8:00 a.m. at the Bryce Eck Center on Saturdays, September through May, and is designed to:

  • Facilitate a personal encounter and relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Meet men wherever they are in their spiritual lives and help them take one step further.
  • Turn the hearts of fathers to their spouse and children.
  • Form authentic leaders capable of transforming their families and greater society.
  • Form bonds of friendship and fellowship that strengthen the parish community.
  • Provide a long-term solution for men’s ministry and ongoing formation with over 10 years of content.

The fall semester, Apostles of the New Springtime, begins on Saturday, Sept. 12! Men are invited to register and/or drop in at anytime throughout the semester.

WALKING WITH PURPOSE

Walking with Purpose (WWP) Bible studies help women grow closer to Christ by discovering and embracing the timeless truths found in Scripture and applying them to their daily lives. Through engaging Catholic Bible studies, women are encouraged to deepen their faith, grow in friendship with Christ, and experience the joy that comes from living according to God’s plan.

The WWP Bible studies are unique in that they:

  • Offer practical, Scripture-based guidance that can be applied to everyday life
  • Vary in length and depth to meet the needs of women at different stages of their faith journey
  • Have received the imprimatur of the Roman Catholic Church

Each year, the volunteer leaders of Walking With Purpose at St. Andrew Parish work together to select the program best suited to inspire, support, and effectively evangelize the women of our parish community. The leadership team is committed to fostering a warm and welcoming environment where all women are invited to grow in faith and fellowship, regardless of their faith background, age, or marital status.

Weekly group sessions are held on Wednesdays from September through March. Our next sessions begin on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026.
