St. Andrew Choristers
The St. Andrew Choristers is a youth choir which is open to students in grades 3, 4, 5 and 6. This group rehearses on Wednesday afternoons (3:00-4:00) on a “seasonal” basis. Singers are typically asked to make a 6-8 week commitment as we prepare for a specific event/liturgy, then a new session will begin. Children from both St. Andrew School as well as our PSR program are invited to participate. For more information, including a current schedule, contact the Music Director, Philip Lortz, plortz@standrewparish.cc or 451-1839.

History
In 2001, thirty-six children from St. Andrew parish assembled as the Choristers ensemble. These energetic students in grade 3 and above sing at parish celebrations throughout the school year. Weekly rehearsals allow these singers to offer music at Sunday Mass once a month, at greater feasts of the Church Year, and at selected all-school Masses. Students are trained in liturgy as well as in the finer points of music reading.
