St. Andrew School Alumni
St. Andrew School has been providing Catholic elementary education to hundreds of area boys and girls in the Diocese of Columbus since 1956. Its mission, to instill and reinforce Catholic values in lifelong learners within a supportive and challenging academic environment, has been ever present over these past 50 years and continues today.
If you are a former student of St. Andrew School, we want to hear from you. Our goal is to build up a roster of St. Andrew alumni in order to renew friendships, share alumni news, and to keep you informed of the activities of our wonderful school and parish.
Please take a moment to update us about yourself by completing the St. Andrew School Alumni Data Form. After completing the form, we invite you to take some time to learn more about your school, both past and present, through the use of the informational links and photo gallery (bottom of page) provided in the following paragraphs.

History of St. Andrew School
The following paragraphs are excerpts from the history of the parish which was published within the 2005 St. Andrew Parish Lifetouch© Pictorial Directory:
On April 8, 1956, Bishop Michael Ready laid the cornerstone for the properties first building. In September, the school opended with 145 students enrolled in grades 1-4 in the new building. The building consisted of the church (with one classroom at the back of the church with one glass wall so it could be used as the crying room on Sundays and a fourth grade classroom during the week), the Parish Office (what is now the school secretary's office), three classrooms on the lower level (now numbered 103, 104, and 105), and the Social Hall/Cafeteria (now rooms 111 and 112).....Full Excerpt

St. Andrew School Principals & Teachers
The staff for the first few years were sisters from the Sisters of St. Joseph in Baden, Pennsylvania. Over the last 50 years the school maintained a mix of sisters, as well as lay teachers and staff. All of those who have taught at St. Andrew School believe that their mission was to assist in the teaching of Catholic children. Complete list of Principals & Teachers

St. Andrew School Advisory Board
This nine-member Advisory Board assists the Pastor and principal with critical educational decisions that do not contradict Diocesan policy. The School Advisory Board gathers necessary information to make school improvements, and offers support to school administration and faculty, as well as parents of school children. Each member is elected to the board by the parishioners and serves a three-year term. Three new members are elected annually. For more information, contact Joel Wichtman, School Principal.
St. Andrew Home & School Association
Perhaps the most active organization, the Home & School Association, (similar to PTO), is the primary parent-facilitated support group in the St. Andrew School Community. Its members are parent volunteers who work tirelessly to enrich the lives of students and their families, teachers, and the administrative staff. The Home & School Association is a major fund-raising group that sponsors many and varied school-supportive initiatives, including: Market Day, Scrip, Annual School Supply Sale, skating parties, Spaghetti Dinner, monthly teacher luncheons and monthly teacher treats, Family Picture Program, and other programs too numerous to mention.
