Men's Fellowship Breakfast
Men's Fellowship Breakfast gatherings are held on the first Saturday of each month in the Msgr. Nugent Parish Hall beginning at 7:45 a.m. The meetings afford an opportunity for all men of the parish to share in a good, hot breakfast, enjoy some fellowship with one another, and participate in discussion about being a Catholic man today. Teenaged sons are welcome, too! There is no charge for attending the breakfast, and the gatherings always end by 9 a.m. so that men may proceed with their busy Saturday schedules.
Men come together for spiritual study, enrichment and fellowship for one hour five times per month. On the first Saturday of each month there is the Men’s Fellowship Breakfast (described elsewhere in this directory) gathering at 7:45 a.m. in the Nugent Hall. During the month there are Men’s Faith Sharing gatherings on the first and third Wednesday mornings at 7 a.m. and on the second and fourth Saturday mornings at 8 a.m. in the Rectory Den
Parents In Prayer welcomes all parishioners, parents of children at St. Andrew School and PSR students to gather for the recitation of the Rosary every Wednesday morning at 8 a.m. in the Bridal Room in the Parish Hall. Prayer intentions are said for the children and families, principals, teachers and supporting staff of school and parish and our priests, deacons and seminarians.
Parents in Prayer Information & more
The RCIA is a program offered for non-Catholics who may want to join the Catholic Church and Catholics who are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith. Sessions are held on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. from early Fall through Spring and include prayer, fellowship, and instruction. Adult Catholics who have not yet received the Sacrament of Confirmation are also invited to participate, and members of the parish are always welcome to attend. For more information on RCIA, or to become a sponsor for someone in the program, contact Dee & Kris Pellissier at rcia@standrewparish.cc , 451-1129, ext. 114.
Women’s Bible Study
St. Andrew Catholic Women’s Bible Study enables its participants to grow closer to Christ and His Church through the study of Sacred Scripture. Catholic Scripture Study, International program class guides and DVDs, written by Catholic authors and scripture scholars such as Dr. Scott Hahn, Mark Shea, Steve Ray and Fr. Pat Winslow, are utilized to facilitate the 90 minute weekly sessions. A Catholic Childrens’ Program is held simultaneously for mothers who would like to bring their children and attend the study.
