The past year has been exceptionally challenging, marked by illness, economic hardship, and tension. For many, it has meant isolation from each other and from the support found within our parish community.
A powerful way to connect with God and support each other is through prayer. St. Andrew Parish Council is sponsoring a Candlemas prayer service on the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord when we traditionally hold the blessing of candles. This first-ever service will provide parishioners an opportunity to pray for and with each other as a parish community and to look forward in hope together.
Are you or a loved one in need of prayers? Do you want to help others through prayer? As we appeal to Him, we recognize God’s goodness with deep reverence and thankfulness. Whether your prayers are those of intercession for yourself or for someone else, prayer inspires us to look toward heaven and acknowledge our deep dependence on God.
If you wish to submit a prayer intention, please email email@example.com. If you choose, your prayer intention will be read aloud during the service. If you prefer your intention to remain private, please note that in your email.
Why wait to pray? Bring Christ into your home today by placing an electronic candle in your window and begin praying for others in the parish, nation and world. If you need an electronic candle, contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be in touch.
